What are the advantages and disadvantages to using the Shirt Tag Piece System (ST_)?

The main advantage is that by using this system, no tags will go to waste, which means more savings in the long run. A cleaner would select the style that tag they are going to use. They would then choose the colors that would designate the particular days of the week. They would then purchase the #1- #10 tags. If a customer brought in 2 articles of clothing, the #2 tag would be used. The master tag would be attached to the invoice, with the other 2 tags being attached to the actual articles of clothing. This way, no tags are being thrown out. The main disadvantage would be the high start up cost to implement this system. However, in the long run, money is saved because fewer tags are being thrown out.

What is a good way to keep orders separated from store to store, or from route to route?

One way to designate different routes or store locations is during the check in process. Cleaner’s Supply™ offers 5 different styles of the Dry Cleaning Piece Tag System, 2 different styles of the Strip Book ™Tag Systems, and many different styles of the Roll Lot™ Tags System and Shirt Roll Lot™ Tag Systems. If it is necessary to distinguish between multiple routes or locations, one option is to designate a certain color for each destination. Thus with 5 different styles in the Dry Cleaning Piece Tag System as well as 10 different colors, it would be possible to distinguish between 50 different locations. Another way of designating different routes could be by utilizing different color counter bags. Cleaner’s Supply™ has many attractive colors available.
