How does this compare to Pellon Shape-Flex SF101?

Yes, the INTF2525WH would be the equivalent product. It does have a slightly smoother finish than the SF101. It also has a higher thread count so there is less chance of the glue going back through the material.

Why would I choose a woven over a non-woven interfacing?

Woven interfacing has a true grain direction unlike non-woven interfacing. Woven interfacing tends to last longer and be stronger than non-woven. However, when using it, it's important that the grain of the interfacing match the grain of the fabric that it's be applied to. For best result select an interfacing that is just a little lighter weight than the fabric you will use it on.

Pre-heat the iron to the wool/silk setting or set your iron to 3/4 mark on the dial. (265 F-285 F). Do not use steam.

Yes, you may need to pre-wash this. Make sure to use warm to hot water and you would gently soak it, being careful not to remove the adhesive. Then let it air dry, DO NOT put in the dryer.

My favorite interfacing
This is the first interfacing that I’ve found that I’ve actually liked. Other fusible interfacings have disappointed— they don’t fuse well, they are often messy or sticky, and the end result hardly seems worth the effort. This product does what it’s supposed to and doesn’t leave any residues or stickiness. I definitely will be repurchasing.
