Will your needles fit in any Dennison Gun?

A:
No. Our needles are to be used in the Mark III Fine Fabric Fastening Guns only
Why is it difficult to insert or remove the needle from my Dennison Gun?
Posting As
Please Note: Your answer will be displayed upon approval.
A:
Make sure that the needle locking mechanism hasn’t moved out of the gun. Sometimes when this locking mechanism is turned- it slides out of the gun a little and acts as a barrier to the needle, either not allowing the needle to leave the gun- or be inserted into the gun.
Can you use different types of fasteners and needles in the Dennison gun?
Posting As
Please Note: Your answer will be displayed upon approval.
A:
The supplies that we carry are for the Mark III Fine Fabric Gun, and will only work for that particular gun. Likewise, if supplies were purchased for a different model Dennison gun, they would not work with the Mark III Fine Fabric Gun.
What’s the difference between the plastic base and the all-steel needles used in the Dennison gun?
Posting As
Please Note: Your answer will be displayed upon approval.
A:
They are both used and function the same in the Mark III Dennison gun. The all-steel needles tend to be sturdier and will typically last longer before breaking. The plastic base is a more economical version of the same needle. Some also feel that opening in the plastic base needle provides a smoother passage for the fasteners to enter through, thus there is less jamming of fasteners.
How do you install a needle into the Dennison gun?
Posting As
Please Note: Your answer will be displayed upon approval.
A:
Installation of the needle is easy: 1. Make sure the needle being inserted is one that will fit the gun 2. Put the needle protector over the needle- so as to prevent injury. 3. Make sure the white needle lock handle is facing outward towards the front of the gun. 4. Insert the needle with the long slot running parallel to the slot in the gun. With the needle in place, turn the needle lock handle till it is facing the rear of the gun.
