Can your Foamies™ be used with steam tunnels?

No, Foamies™ are hydrolytic, thus if exposed to heat and moisture they will start to degrade. For example, if they are subjected to steam and put into a vacuum like condition for 24 hours, they will degrade by 30-40 percent.

If it helps, we've run these foamies through our steam tunnel with no noticeable damage to the foamies or more importantly, the garment. Have done this for over 10 years and until recently, I didn't know it's not recommended. We don't reuse foamies, we treat them as single use which is probably why we never noticed any degradation.
