Fusible (iron-on) non-woven medium-weight interfacing is more rigid than woven fusible and can be cut in any direction without raveling. It provides support, shape and structure to a garment. Great for T-shirts or for draping blouses. Made from 100% polyester. Available in a variety of colors and sizes.

Is there a benefit to using a a non-woven interfacing?

Because the fibers on a non-woven interfacing are fused together, there is no true grain directions, which means this can be applied to the fabric in any direction, and it will not fray or unravel. It's not considered to be as stable as a woven interfacing, but it is easy to use. For best results, use an interfacing that is a little lighter than the fabric it is being applied to. Also, non-woven interfacing should not be used with stretchy materials.

Why does my BLACK Fusible Non-Woven Interfacing look GREY?

That’s how it comes from the manufacturer, we do not have anything darker. It is a charcoal- very dark grey in color.
